TOKYO (AP) — Japanese actor Sonny Chiba, who wowed the world with his martial arts skills in more than 100 films, including “Kill Bill,” has died. He was 82.

Chiba, known in Japan as Shinichi Chiba, died late Thursday in a hospital near Tokyo where he had been treated for COVID-19 since Aug. 8, Tokyo-based Astraia, his management office, said in a statement Friday. It said he had not been vaccinated.

FARMINGTON, Utah (KSL.com) — A man who fell an estimated 50 feet from the Sky Ride at Lagoon Amusement Park over the weekend has died.

Farmington Police Chief Wayne Hansen said his office was notified Monday morning that the 32-year-old man had passed away. Police have not yet released the man’s name.

Charles “Bud” Ford Dorsey Jr., a longtime Louisville photographer who captured stories in his own community and around the world, died Thursday, according to the Kentucky Center for African American Heritage.

He was 80.

Dorsey was born to Charles Sr. and Anna Lewis Dorsey in Louisville’s Beecher Terrace Housing Complex in April 1941, according to his 2017 book, “Available Light: Through the Lens of Bud Dorsey.” He went to Madison Street Junior High, where Muhammad Ali — then Cassius Clay — was one of his classmates.

Bollywood legend Dilip Kumar has died in Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital. He was 98.

Dilip Kumar was taken to hospital on last Wednesday after complaining of breathlessness – it was the second time he had been hospitalised in the same month.
